Art has always been an integral part of my life. The
paintings of my prolific artist grandfather, Joseph
Tepper, filled my parent's home, images of foreign
landscapes, solemn bowls of fruit, and the many
portraits of family members.
I'm fascinated with light and color. I work with
stained glass because of the vast array of available
colors and the way the light plays upon glass,
changing the mood of the piece depending on the
lighting and the direction from which it is viewed.

Like my grandfather, I hold a dear interest in classical art. I enjoy melding together
landscapes and still-life imagery from the broken shards, but unlike him I also embrace
what he would call the "new art" and enjoy playing with light and color for light and color's
sake.
